Dharma for Kids Day Camp
Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18, 2014
at Kadampa Meditation Center California
During this 5-day Summer Camp, our wish is to give children the opportunity to learn meditation and Dharma life lessons in a safe, kind and fun environment. Through a variety of creative, engaging activities and teachings, this unique Summer Camp is focused on teaching children how to reach their personal, social, emotional and academic potential.
Even children experience stressful lives. They are bombarded with pressures from school, television, video games and peers. Children will be taught ways to develop contented minds, and explore methods to better deal with life’s problems in a way that is compassionate and constructive. Having a happy, peaceful mind gives children the means to deal with the stresses of life and reach their highest potential for success.
All children ages 6-11 are welcome - including newcomers - to this special Summer Camp.
